سورة الواقعة - 56 - |
||
|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
۞ إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ﴿1﴾لا |
وَقَعَ,
|
| When the inevitable (unavoidable) will occur. | ||
| 2 |
لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ﴿2﴾م |
كَذَبَ,
|
| There is no denying it's occurring. | ||
| 3 |
خَافِضَةٌۭ رَّافِعَةٌ﴿3﴾لا |
رَفَعَ,
|
| Lowering Raised. (We will bring down those in high positions). | ||
| 4 |
إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ رَجًّۭا﴿4﴾لا |
أَ رَضْ,
|
| When the earth will be shaken with shock. (Note. A giant 60 miles wide asteroid hitting the world will completely and utterly wipe out life on our planet). | ||
| 5 |
وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّۭا﴿5﴾لا |
جَبَلَ,
|
| And the mountains will be driven with a drive. | ||
| 6 |
فَكَانَتْ هَبَآءًۭ مُّنۢبَثًّۭا﴿6﴾لا |
هَبَا,
|
| And that (mountains) will become dust particles scattered. | ||
| 7 |
وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا ثَلَٰثَةًۭ﴿7﴾ط |
زَاجَ,
|
| And you will be in three groups. | ||
| 8 |
فَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ﴿8﴾ط |
صَحِبَ,
|
| Those companions of the right, what of those companions on the right? | ||
| 9 |
وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ﴿9﴾ط |
صَحِبَ,
|
| And those companions of the left, what of those companions of the left? | ||
| 10 |
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ﴿10﴾ج لا |
سَبَقَ,
|
| And those trying to surpass (arrived before in doing good) will be the competitors (the outperforming). | ||
| 11 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ﴿11﴾ج |
قَرُبَ,
|
| They will be near Allah. | ||
| 12 |
فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ﴿12﴾ |
جَنَّ,
|
| In the Gardens of Comfort. | ||
| 13 |
ثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿13﴾لا |
ثَلَّ,
|
| A group of people from the earlier (to be the first in doing good). | ||
| 14 |
وَقَلِيلٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿14﴾ط |
قَلَّ,
|
| And a few from the later (arrived later in doing good). | ||
| 15 |
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مَّوْضُونَةٍۢ﴿15﴾لا |
سَرَّ,
|
| On decorated beds. | ||
| 16 |
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ﴿16﴾ |
قَبِلَ,
|
| Resting on them, facing each other. | ||
| 17 |
يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌۭ مُّخَلَّدُونَ﴿17﴾لا |
طَافَ,
|
| Making rounds on them are youths everlasting. | ||
| 18 |
بِأَكْوَابٍۢ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۢ﴿18﴾لا |
كَأْس,
|
| With fine glasses, pitchers, and drinks from springs. | ||
| 19 |
لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ﴿19﴾لا |
صَدَعَ,
|
| They will not get a headache or be exhausted (emptied). | ||
| 20 |
وَفَٰكِهَةٍۢ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ﴿20﴾لا |
فَكِهَ,
|
| And the fruits that they choose. | ||
| 21 |
وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍۢ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ﴿21﴾ط |
لَحَمَ,
|
| And the meat of the birds that they desire. | ||
| 22 |
وَحُورٌ عِينٌۭ﴿22﴾لا |
عين,
|
| And the Virgins of Paradise with (large) eyes. | ||
| 23 |
كَأَمْثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ﴿23﴾ج |
مَثَلَ,
|
| Like the example of the covered (hidden) pearls. | ||
| 24 |
جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿24﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| As a reward because of what they were doing. | ||
| 25 |
لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًۭا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا﴿25﴾لا |
سَمَعَ,
|
| They will not be listening invalid talks and not offensive. | ||
| 26 |
إِلَّا قِيلًۭا سَلَٰمًۭا سَلَٰمًۭا﴿26﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| But only the sayings: “Peace, Peace.” | ||
| 27 |
وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿27﴾ط |
صَحِبَ,
|
| "What about the companions on the right side? Who are the companions of the right side?" | ||
| 28 |
فِى سِدْرٍۢ مَّخْضُودٍۢ﴿28﴾لا |
سَدِرَ,
|
| In the thorn less Lotus Tree. | ||
| 29 |
وَطَلْحٍۢ مَّنضُودٍۢ﴿29﴾لا |
طَلَحَ,
|
| And stacked bananas. | ||
| 30 |
وَظِلٍّۢ مَّمْدُودٍۢ﴿30﴾لا |
ظَلَّ,
|
| And elongated shadows. | ||
| 31 |
وَمَآءٍۢ مَّسْكُوبٍۢ﴿31﴾لا |
مَا ءَ,
|
| And outpouring watershed. | ||
| 32 |
وَفَٰكِهَةٍۢ كَثِيرَةٍۢ﴿32﴾لا |
فَكِهَ,
|
| And abundance of fruit. | ||
| 33 |
لَّا مَقْطُوعَةٍۢ وَلَا مَمْنُوعَةٍۢ﴿33﴾لا |
قَطَعَ,
|
| Neither cutting off nor prohibited. | ||
| 34 |
وَفُرُشٍۢ مَّرْفُوعَةٍ﴿34﴾ط |
رَفَعَ,
|
| And raised furniture. | ||
| 35 |
إِنَّآ أَنشَأْنَٰهُنَّ إِنشَآءًۭ﴿35﴾لا |
نَشَأَ,
|
| We will raise those women into a new creation. | ||
| 36 |
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا﴿36﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| We will make them virgins. | ||
| 37 |
عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًۭا﴿37﴾لا |
تَرِبَ,
|
| Mate, same age (un-aging). | ||
| 38 |
لِّأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿38﴾ط 1ع |
صَحِبَ,
|
| For the companions of the right. | ||
| 39 |
ثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿39﴾لا |
ثَلَّ,
|
| A group from the first. | ||
| 40 |
وَثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿40﴾ |
ثَلَّ,
|
| And a group from the latter. | ||
| 41 |
وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ﴿41﴾ط |
صَحِبَ,
|
| "What about the companions on the left side? Who are the companions of the left side?" | ||
| 42 |
فِى سَمُومٍۢ وَحَمِيمٍۢ﴿42﴾لا |
حَمَّ,
|
| In searing wind and hot water. | ||
| 43 |
وَظِلٍّۢ مِّن يَحْمُومٍۢ﴿43﴾لا |
ظَلَّ,
|
| And shadows from heated smoke (blackness). | ||
| 44 |
لَّا بَارِدٍۢ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ﴿44﴾ |
بَرَدَ,
|
| Neither coolness nor kindness. | ||
| 45 |
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُتْرَفِينَ﴿45﴾ج صلے |
قَبِلَ,
|
| They were before this in luxury. | ||
| 46 |
وَكَانُوا۟ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى ٱلْحِنثِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿46﴾ج |
صُرَّة,
|
| And they used to insist on (doing) the great sins. | ||
| 47 |
وَكَانُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ﴿47﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| And they used to say, “When we die and become dust and bones, are we going to be raised? | ||
| 48 |
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ﴿48﴾ |
ا و ل,
|
| And our forefathers of the earlier generations?” | ||
| 49 |
قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿49﴾ |
ا و ل,
|
| Say, “The earlier and the later. | ||
| 50 |
لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ﴿50﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| They will be gathered on an appointed time on a known Day.” | ||
| 51 |
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ﴿51﴾لا |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Then indeed, you, O you the misguided, liars. | ||
| 52 |
لَـَٔاكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍۢ مِّن زَقُّومٍۢ﴿52﴾لا |
شَجَرَ,
|
| You will surely be eating from the Zakhoum Tree. | ||
| 53 |
فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ﴿53﴾ج |
بَطَنَ,
|
| Then you will be filling up your stomach from it. | ||
| 54 |
فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَمِيمِ﴿54﴾ج |
شَرِبَ,
|
| Then you will be drinking from the hot water. | ||
| 55 |
فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرْبَ ٱلْهِيمِ﴿55﴾ط |
شَرِبَ,
|
| Then you will be drinking like the thirsty drinks. | ||
| 56 |
هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ﴿56﴾ط |
نَزَلَ,
|
| This is their lodging on the Last Day of the Judgment. | ||
| 57 |
نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ﴿57﴾ |
صَدَقَ,
|
| We created you, then why do you not testify! | ||
| 58 |
أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تُمْنُونَ﴿58﴾ط |
رَأَى,
|
| Do you see what you emit? | ||
| 59 |
ءَأَنتُمْ تَخْلُقُونَهُۥٓ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْخَٰلِقُونَ﴿59﴾ |
خَلَقَ,
|
| Do you create that, or are We the Creator? | ||
| 60 |
نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَيْنَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ﴿60﴾لا |
بَا نَ,
|
| We have decreed the death among you, and We will not be overtaken. (you will not be able to continue to grow in power, resources, etc., since you will get cut off and terminated at death). | ||
| 61 |
عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ أَمْثَٰلَكُمْ وَنُنشِئَكُمْ فِى مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿61﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| It is upon Us that we replace your examples and raise you in what you do not know. (Unlike life in this world, on the Day of Resurrection, your skin, limbs, and eyes will be able to speak, you will be able to suffer severe punishments endlessly, and death will not come to you). | ||
| 62 |
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ ٱلنَّشْأَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ فَلَوْلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ﴿62﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Certainly, you already know first growing up (present first life in this world), so why not mention it? (The Most Merciful has given you the senses and ability to enjoy this worldly life and resources, so why do you not mention and thank Him). | ||
| 63 |
أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَحْرُثُونَ﴿63﴾ط |
رَأَى,
|
| Do you see what you cultivate? | ||
| 64 |
ءَأَنتُمْ تَزْرَعُونَهُۥٓ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلزَّٰرِعُونَ﴿64﴾ |
زَرَعَ,
|
| Do you grow this cultivation, or Do We grow cultivation? | ||
| 65 |
لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَٰهُ حُطَٰمًۭا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُونَ﴿65﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| If We wanted, We would have made it crushed debris; then you would continue to wonder. | ||
| 66 |
إِنَّا لَمُغْرَمُونَ﴿66﴾لا |
غَرِمَ,
|
| “Surely we will be paying the damages. (we, unbelievers are now penalized). | ||
| 67 |
بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ﴿67﴾ |
حَرُمَ,
|
| No, we are being deprived". (We are not being allowed to participate, and we are being excommunicated or prohibited). | ||
| 68 |
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱلْمَآءَ ٱلَّذِى تَشْرَبُونَ﴿68﴾ط |
رَأَى,
|
| Do you see the water that you drink? | ||
| 69 |
ءَأَنتُمْ أَنزَلْتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُزْنِ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُنزِلُونَ﴿69﴾ |
نَزَلَ,
|
| Are you the one who sent it down from the clouds, or are We the Sender? | ||
| 70 |
لَوْ نَشَآءُ جَعَلْنَٰهُ أُجَاجًۭا فَلَوْلَا تَشْكُرُونَ﴿70﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| If We desired, We would have made it bitter. So, why are you not thankful? | ||
| 71 |
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِى تُورُونَ﴿71﴾ط |
نَار,
|
| Do you see the fire that you kindle? | ||
| 72 |
ءَأَنتُمْ أَنشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَآ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُنشِـُٔونَ﴿72﴾ |
شَجَرَ,
|
| Did you produce that tree, or was it produced by US? | ||
| 73 |
نَحْنُ جَعَلْنَٰهَا تَذْكِرَةًۭ وَمَتَٰعًۭا لِّلْمُقْوِينَ﴿73﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| We have created this as a reminder and made it an enjoyment for those who are strengthened (reinforce their beliefs). | ||
| 74 |
فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿74﴾ 2ع |
سَبَحَ,
|
| So, praise the name of your Rabb, the Great Almighty. | ||
| 75 |
۞ فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ﴿75﴾لا |
قَسَمَ,
|
| So, I swear by the falling down of the stars. (Oath on the distribution of matter in the universe, by supernova explosions. A supernova is a powerful and luminous explosion of a star. It has the plural form supernovae /-viː/ or supernovas, and is abbreviated SN or SNe. This transient astronomical event occurs during the last evolutionary stages of a massive star or when a white dwarf is triggered into runaway nuclear fusion. The original object, called the progenitor, either collapses to a neutron star or black hole, or is completely destroyed. The peak optical luminosity of a supernova can be comparable to that of an entire galaxy before fading over several weeks or months. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَقَسَمٌۭ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ﴿76﴾لا |
عَلِمَ,
|
| It is a great Oath if only you knew. | ||
| 77 |
إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرْءَانٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ﴿77﴾لا |
قَرَأَ,
|
| It is a noble Quran. | ||
| 78 |
فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مَّكْنُونٍۢ﴿78﴾لا |
كَتَبَ,
|
| In a covered book. | ||
| 79 |
لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ﴿79﴾ط |
مَسَّ,
|
| It is not touched except by the clean. | ||
| 80 |
تَنزِيلٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿80﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Sent down (Revealed) by the Rabb of the universe. | ||
| 81 |
أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدْهِنُونَ﴿81﴾لا |
حَدَثَ,
|
| With this news? How do you still cheat (deceive)? | ||
| 82 |
وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ﴿82﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And you get your livelihood (food), yet you are in denial? | ||
| 83 |
فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ﴿83﴾لا |
بَلَغَ,
|
| So, why not when it reaches the throats? | ||
| 84 |
وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍۢ تَنظُرُونَ﴿84﴾لا |
نَظَرَ,
|
| And you, at that time, look on. | ||
| 85 |
وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ﴿85﴾ |
قَرُبَ,
|
| We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. | ||
| 86 |
فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ﴿86﴾لا |
غير,
|
| Then why not If you are under no obligation? (if you are a non-believer, you are now obligated or conditioned to help the dying person). | ||
| 87 |
تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿87﴾ |
رَجَعَ,
|
| You return him (to life) if you are truthful. | ||
| 88 |
فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ﴿88﴾لا |
قَرُبَ,
|
| But if he has been among the closer (to Allah). | ||
| 89 |
فَرَوْحٌۭ وَرَيْحَانٌۭ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٍۢ﴿89﴾ |
جَنَّ,
|
| Then pleasant air, and fragrance, and Garden of the Comfort. | ||
| 90 |
وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿90﴾لا |
صَحِبَ,
|
| And if he is from the companions of the right. | ||
| 91 |
فَسَلَٰمٌۭ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿91﴾ط |
صَحِبَ,
|
| Then, “Peace is upon you,” from the companions of the Right. | ||
| 92 |
وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ﴿92﴾لا |
ضَلَّ,
|
| But if he was from the liars among those who lost their way. | ||
| 93 |
فَنُزُلٌۭ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ﴿93﴾لا |
نَزَلَ,
|
| Then he will be lodged in the Inferno. | ||
| 94 |
وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ﴿94﴾ |
جَحَمَ,
|
| And will be burning in Hell. | ||
| 95 |
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ﴿95﴾ج |
حَقَّ,
|
| Indeed, this is for him, who has the certainty of believing (no doubt). | ||
| 96 |
فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿96﴾3ع |
سَبَحَ,
|
| So, praise the name of your Rabb, the great Almighty. |
