سورة الأعراف - 7 - |
||
|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. | ||
| 1 |
۞ الٓمٓصٓ﴿1﴾ج |
|
| Alif Lamm Meem Saad | ||
| 2 |
كِتَٰبٌ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ فَلَا يَكُن فِى صَدْرِكَ حَرَجٌۭ مِّنْهُ لِتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿2﴾ |
نَزَلَ,
|
| A Book sent down to you, so let this not be a hardship in your heart. You are to warn with this and (make this Book) a reminder for the believers. | ||
| 3 |
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۗ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ﴿3﴾ |
نَزَلَ,
|
| Follow what has been sent down to you from your Rabb, and do not follow other protectors besides Him. Rarely do you remember. | ||
| 4 |
وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَٰتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ﴿4﴾ |
قَرَى,
|
| How many townships (communities) have We destroyed? Then came our calamities by night or when they were having midday naps. | ||
| 5 |
فَمَا كَانَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ إِذْ جَآءَهُم بَأْسُنَآ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ﴿5﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Then their call (plea), when suffering (punishment) from Us came to them, they only said, “We have been unjust.” | ||
| 6 |
فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿6﴾لا |
رَسِلَ,
|
| Surely, We will question those, whom Messengers were sent, and We will question the Messengers. | ||
| 7 |
فَلَنَقُصَّنَّ عَلَيْهِم بِعِلْمٍۢ ۖ وَمَا كُنَّا غَآئِبِينَ﴿7﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Surely, We will narrate to them with knowledge (narrate a complete account of what they did), and We were not absent. | ||
| 8 |
وَٱلْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ﴿8﴾ |
فَكِهَ,
|
| And that day's weight (balance) will be the truth (justice). So those who are heavy in his scale (of good deeds) then they will be successful. | ||
| 9 |
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَظْلِمُونَ﴿9﴾ |
نَفُسَ,
|
| Whoever has insignificant deeds in their balance will suffer within themselves for being unjust with our signs. | ||
| 10 |
وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ ۗ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ﴿10﴾1ع |
قَلَبَ,
|
| We firmly established you in the earth and made means of sustenance (income, livelihood) in it, but rarely do you give thanks. | ||
| 11 |
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ ثُمَّ صَوَّرْنَٰكُمْ ثُمَّ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ لَمْ يَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ﴿11﴾ |
سَجَدَ,
|
| And We created you, then fashioned you, and then said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam." So they prostrated, except for Iblis, who was not among those who prostrated. | ||
| 12 |
قَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَلَّا تَسْجُدَ إِذْ أَمَرْتُكَ ۖ قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍۢ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍۢ﴿12﴾ |
نَار,
|
| He (Allah) said, “What has prevented you that you do not prostrate when you are ordered?” He (Iblis) said, “I am better than him; You created me from fire, and You created him from clay.” | ||
| 13 |
قَالَ فَٱهْبِطْ مِنْهَا فَمَا يَكُونُ لَكَ أَن تَتَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا فَٱخْرُجْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰغِرِينَ﴿13﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| He (Allah) said, "Descend from here! It is not for you to be arrogant here, So "Go away! You will be among the lowly." | ||
| 14 |
قَالَ أَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ﴿14﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| He (Iblis) said, “Give me a respite, (delay) up to a day (when) they will be raised.” | ||
| 15 |
قَالَ إِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ﴿15﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| He (Allah) said, “You are given a respite (delayed).” | ||
| 16 |
قَالَ فَبِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَٰطَكَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ﴿16﴾لا |
غَاثَ,
|
| He (Iblis) said, “Then because of how You have let me get seduced (captured in a pitfall), I will sit for them in Your straight path. | ||
| 17 |
ثُمَّ لَـَٔاتِيَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ وَعَن شَمَآئِلِهِمْ ۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شَٰكِرِينَ﴿17﴾ |
يَدَيَ,
|
| Then I will come to them from the front of them, and from behind them, and from the right side of them, and the left side of them, and You will not find many among them, thankful (to You).” | ||
| 18 |
قَالَ ٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا مَذْءُومًۭا مَّدْحُورًۭا ۖ لَّمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ﴿18﴾ |
جَهَنَّم,
|
| He (Allah) said, “Go out from here, despised and driven away. Whoever follows you among them, I will fill Hell from you altogether. | ||
| 19 |
وَيَٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ فَكُلَا مِنْ حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿19﴾ |
سَكَنَ,
|
| And O Adam, stay you and your wife in the paradise and eat from wherever you both desire, but do not get close to this tree; then you will be unjust.” | ||
| 20 |
فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ لِيُبْدِىَ لَهُمَا مَا وُۥرِىَ عَنْهُمَا مِن سَوْءَٰتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَىٰكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنْ هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَيْنِ أَوْ تَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلْخَٰلِدِينَ﴿20﴾ |
شَجَرَ,
|
| Then Satan tempted them with suggestions that disclose their private parts that had been concealed from them, and (Iblis) said (to Adam), “(the reason) Your Rabb has prohibited you from this tree, is only to keep you from becoming angels or become immortals.” | ||
| 21 |
وَقَاسَمَهُمَآ إِنِّى لَكُمَا لَمِنَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ﴿21﴾لا |
نَصَحَ,
|
| And he swore to them, “Indeed, I am a sincere advisor for you.” | ||
| 22 |
فَدَلَّىٰهُمَا بِغُرُورٍۢ ۚ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا ٱلشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَٰتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ وَنَادَىٰهُمَا رَبُّهُمَآ أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَن تِلْكُمَا ٱلشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَّكُمَآ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿22﴾ |
شَجَرَ,
|
| Then he (Shaytan) led them with deceit. When they tasted the tree, their private parts were uncovered, and they suddenly began to cover them with the garden leaves. And their Rabb called them, “Did I not forbid you from this tree, and I told you that the shaytan is a manifested (evident) enemy for you?” | ||
| 23 |
قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ﴿23﴾ |
خَسِرَ,
|
| They (both) said, “O our Rabb, we have been unjust to ourselves. If You do not forgive us, and You have Mercy on us, we will be the losers.” | ||
| 24 |
قَالَ ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّۭ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّۭ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ﴿24﴾ |
هَبَطَ,
|
| He (Allah) said, “Descend; you are enemies to each other. The earth is a resting place for you and provisions for some time (up to a certain time).” | ||
| 25 |
قَالَ فِيهَا تَحْيَوْنَ وَفِيهَا تَمُوتُونَ وَمِنْهَا تُخْرَجُونَ﴿25﴾2ع |
حي,
|
| He said, "In it, you'll live, and in it, you will die, and from it, you will come out." | ||
| 26 |
يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ قَدْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًۭا يُوَٰرِى سَوْءَٰتِكُمْ وَرِيشًۭا ۖ وَلِبَاسُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللّٰهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ﴿26﴾ |
خَيرَ,
|
| O children of Adam! We sent down your clothes to hide (conceal) your shame (body, private parts) and as attires. And (but) clothes of the fear of God are best. These are signs-verses of Allah, so maybe they will remember. | ||
| 27 |
يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ لَا يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ كَمَآ أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ يَنزِعُ عَنْهُمَا لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْءَٰتِهِمَآ ۗ إِنَّهُۥ يَرَىٰكُمْ هُوَ وَقَبِيلُهُۥ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا تَرَوْنَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿27﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O Children of Adam! The Shaytan should not tempt you, as he caused your parents to be expelled from paradise and removed their clothes to show them their shame. He and his group see you from where you do not see them. Indeed, We made the Shaytan friends for those who do not believe. | ||
| 28 |
وَإِذَا فَعَلُوا۟ فَٰحِشَةًۭ قَالُوا۟ وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَآ ءَابَآءَنَا وَٱللّٰهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ لَا يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ ۖ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿28﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And when they do obscenity, they say, “We found on this our forefathers, and Allah has ordered us with this.” Say, “Allah Does not order you for obscenity. Do you say on Allah what you do not know?” | ||
| 29 |
قُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّى بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍۢ وَٱدْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ﴿29﴾ط |
دَعَا,
|
| Say, “My Rabb has commanded justice and establish your direction (incline yourself to be) near every Masjid (Incline yourself to bow down to Him at every place). So, call upon Him sincerely with full devotion to His religion. Like how He originated (created) you, you will be returning (to Him).” | ||
| 30 |
فَرِيقًا هَدَىٰ وَفَرِيقًا حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ ۗ إِنَّهُمُ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ﴿30﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| A party He guided, and a party upon whom error was justly decreed. They took hold of the Shaytans as their supporters other than Allah and assumed they were guided. | ||
| 31 |
۞ يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ خُذُوا۟ زِينَتَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍۢ وَكُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ وَلَا تُسْرِفُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ﴿31﴾3ع |
حَبَّ,
|
| O children of Adam! Take your beautiful dressings (attires) to every Masjid, eat and drink, and do not waste. Truly He does not like wasteful people. | ||
| 32 |
قُلْ مَنْ حَرَّمَ زِينَةَ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَخْرَجَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ وَٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ مِنَ ٱلرِّزْقِ ۚ قُلْ هِىَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا خَالِصَةًۭ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿32﴾ |
خَرَجَ,
|
| Say, “Who has forbidden the beauty (adornment, ornaments, dressings, attires) which Allah Has produced for His worshippers and the delicious food?” Say, “This is for those who believe during the life of this world and exclusively on the Day of Standing.” That is how We provide detailed signs for the nation that knows. | ||
| 33 |
قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّىَ ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَٱلْإِثْمَ وَٱلْبَغْىَ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَأَن تُشْرِكُوا۟ بِٱللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ سُلْطَٰنًۭا وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿33﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Say, “What has been forbidden by my Rabb is the obscenity, both open and hidden, and sin, and the oppression with no justification, and that you make partners with Allah, no proof has been sent down for it, and that you say on Allah what you do not know.” | ||
| 34 |
وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌۭ ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ﴿34﴾ |
أَ جَل,
|
| For every nation, it is a fixed period. When their fixed time comes, nothing delays their time, and nothing brings them forward. | ||
| 35 |
يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ إِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ رُسُلٌۭ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتِى ۙ فَمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ﴿35﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| O children of Adam! When messengers among you come to you narrating My verses, whoever fears and improves (according to Messenger's teachings), no fear is on them, and they will not grieve. | ||
| 36 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ عَنْهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿36﴾ |
خَلَدَ,
|
| Those who deny Our signs and become arrogant on this are the companions of the Fire, where they will live forever. | ||
| 37 |
فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَنَالُهُمْ نَصِيبُهُم مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنَّا وَشَهِدُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ كَٰفِرِينَ﴿37﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| Then who is more unjust than him who fabricates a lie or denies His signs-verses? They will receive a full share of what is written to them. Until, when Our messengers (angels of death) will come to take them at the time of their death (to take them to end, death), they said, “Where are those whom you have been calling other than Allah?” They said, “They are lost from us,” and they will give witness to themselves that they have been ungrateful. | ||
| 38 |
قَالَ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ فِىٓ أُمَمٍۢ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ فِى ٱلنَّارِ ۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَتْ أُمَّةٌۭ لَّعَنَتْ أُخْتَهَا ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ٱدَّارَكُوا۟ فِيهَا جَمِيعًۭا قَالَتْ أُخْرَىٰهُمْ لِأُولَىٰهُمْ رَبَّنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَضَلُّونَا فَـَٔاتِهِمْ عَذَابًۭا ضِعْفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ قَالَ لِكُلٍّۢ ضِعْفٌۭ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿38﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Said, “Enter in the Fire, with (other) nations that already have (come) passed before you, among the jinn and the humankind,” Every time a nation entered, they cursed its sister (nation). Until they continued (up to the last one reaching) in there altogether, the latter will say for the former, “O our Rabb; these are the ones who have misled us, so give them double punishment from the Fire.” He will say, “Everyone will have double (punishment), but you do not know.” | ||
| 39 |
وَقَالَتْ أُولَىٰهُمْ لِأُخْرَىٰهُمْ فَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍۢ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ﴿39﴾4ع |
عَذُبَ,
|
| The former will say to the latter, “You were not superior (better) than us, so taste the punishment for what you have earned.” | ||
| 40 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ عَنْهَا لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَٰبُ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَا يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ حَتَّىٰ يَلِجَ ٱلْجَمَلُ فِى سَمِّ ٱلْخِيَاطِ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿40﴾ |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Those who denied our signs-verses and became arrogant towards this, doors will not open for them in the sky, nor will they enter paradise until the camel is compelled (to pass) from the eye of the needle. That is how We reward criminals. | ||
| 41 |
لَهُم مِّن جَهَنَّمَ مِهَادٌۭ وَمِن فَوْقِهِمْ غَوَاشٍۢ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿41﴾ |
جَهَنَّم,
|
| For them, hell is a resting place and, above them, a misfortune. That is how We reward the unjust. | ||
| 42 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿42﴾ |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| For those who believe and do righteous deeds, We do not put their soul in trouble (burden his soul) beyond its capacity; they are companions of paradise and will live there forever. | ||
| 43 |
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ ٱلَّذِى هَدَىٰنَا لِهَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِىَ لَوْلَآ أَنْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللّٰهُ ۖ لَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَنُودُوٓا۟ أَن تِلْكُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴿43﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| We will remove hatred from their hearts. The rivers will be running below them. And they will say, “All the praise for Allah, Who has guided us for this (reward). And we would not have been guided if it were not that Allah guided us. Indeed, the Messengers of our Rabb did come with the truth (true Message).” And it will be called to them, “This Paradise is for you; you inherited this because of what you have been doing.” | ||
| 44 |
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ أَن قَدْ وَجَدْنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقًّۭا فَهَلْ وَجَدتُّم مَّا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّۭا ۖ قَالُوا۟ نَعَمْ ۚ فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌۢ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن لَّعْنَةُ ٱللّٰهِ عَلَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿44﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| And companions of the paradise will call out to companions of the Fire, “We found what our Rabb has promised to us as truth; have you found true what your Rabb has promised to you?” They will say, “Yes.” Then a call will come from the caller between them, “The curse of Allah is upon the unjust.” | ||
| 45 |
ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًۭا وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ كَٰفِرُونَ﴿45﴾م |
سَبَلَ,
|
| “Those who obstruct the path of Allah and seek a deviation from it, and they do not believe in the Hereafter. | ||
| 46 |
وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌۭ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌۭ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلًّۢا بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ ۚ وَنَادَوْا۟ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَ﴿46﴾ |
طَمِعَ,
|
| There will be a curtain between them and the men on the highland; everyone will be recognized by their marks. They will call companions of the paradise, “Peace be on you.” They have not (yet) entered there, but they were hoping. | ||
| 47 |
۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تِلْقَآءَ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿47﴾5ع |
قَالَ,
|
| When they turn their gaze to companions in front of the Fire, they will say, "Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people." | ||
| 48 |
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالًۭا يَعْرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ﴿48﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And companions of the heights will call (companions of fire) by recognizing with their marks; they will say, “Your gathering (of wealth) is not useful to you when you have been arrogant.” | ||
| 49 |
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقْسَمْتُمْ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ ۚ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ﴿49﴾ |
دَخَلَ,
|
| “Are these the ones you swear that Mercy of Allah will not reach them?” (Today they are welcome to) “Enter in the paradise, with no fear, and you will not be grieved.” | ||
| 50 |
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَنْ أَفِيضُوا۟ عَلَيْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ أَوْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿50﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| And companions of the fire will call to companions of the paradise, “Pour us the water or from what Allah has provided you.” And they will say, “Allah has prohibited these on the ungrateful.” | ||
| 51 |
ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًۭا وَلَعِبًۭا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ فَٱلْيَوْمَ نَنسَىٰهُمْ كَمَا نَسُوا۟ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ﴿51﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| They took their religion to fulfill desires and play (games), and the life of this world deceived them. Today We forget them like they forgot their meeting of this day and what they had been arguing with our verses-signs. | ||
| 52 |
وَلَقَدْ جِئْنَٰهُم بِكِتَٰبٍۢ فَصَّلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ هُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿52﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| We brought them a divine Book, making it clear as guidance, knowledge, and mercy for people of believers. | ||
| 53 |
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيلَهُۥ ۚ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى تَأْوِيلُهُۥ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَآءَ فَيَشْفَعُوا۟ لَنَآ أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ﴿53﴾6ع |
عَمِلَ,
|
| Do they see anything but its interpretation? The day will come for its interpretation; those who forgot it before will say, “Surely, The Messengers of our Rabb came with the truth. Is there anyone among the intercessors who can intercede for us? Or can we be returned (to the world) so that we will do other than what we have been doing?” Truly, they lost themselves and lost from them what they were fabricating. | ||
| 54 |
إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثًۭا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۭ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلْخَلْقُ وَٱلْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ ٱللّٰهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿54﴾ |
خَلَقَ,
|
| Indeed, your Rabb is the one who created the universe in six durations and then established Himself on the throne. He covers the night with the day; they pursue fast (set out quickly in succession, incite one another, like gravity affecting all matters); the sun, the moon, and the stars are subjugated to Him, under His command. Oh yes, (Truly), for Him are the creation and the authority. Blessed is Allah, Rabb of the universe. | ||
| 55 |
ٱدْعُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًۭا وَخُفْيَةً ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ﴿55﴾ج |
دَعَا,
|
| Call your Rabb with humbleness and in secret. Indeed, He does not love the transgressors. | ||
| 56 |
وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَٰحِهَا وَٱدْعُوهُ خَوْفًۭا وَطَمَعًا ۚ إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ ٱللّٰهِ قَرِيبٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿56﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| And do not spread mischief in the earth after it is reformed (made peaceful, corrected), and call Him with fear and hope. Truly, the Mercy of Allah is near for the good-doers. | ||
| 57 |
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَقَلَّتْ سَحَابًۭا ثِقَالًۭا سُقْنَٰهُ لِبَلَدٍۢ مَّيِّتٍۢ فَأَنزَلْنَا بِهِ ٱلْمَآءَ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ﴿57﴾ |
ثَمَرَ,
|
| He is the one Who sends the winds in front as the good news of His Mercy. Then, when it lifts heavy clouds, We provide water for the dead city, where We send the water, and We bring out all the fruits. That is how We will bring out the dead; maybe you will remember. [(Ref: USGS-gov: A 1 cubic km cloud contains 1 billion cubic meters. Doing the math: 1,000,000,000 x 0.5 = 500,000,000 grams of water droplets in our cloud. That is about 500,000 kilograms or 1.1 million pounds (about 551 tons/ cubic km)]. | ||
| 58 |
وَٱلْبَلَدُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ يَخْرُجُ نَبَاتُهُۥ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ ۖ وَٱلَّذِى خَبُثَ لَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَّا نَكِدًۭا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَشْكُرُونَ﴿58﴾7ع |
أَذن,
|
| And the excellent region brings out its cultivation with the permission of its Rabb. And (But) the bad brings out only a little. That is how We bring attention to the signs-verses for the nation that gives thanks. | ||
| 59 |
لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فَقَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ﴿59﴾ |
رَسِلَ,
|
| Indeed, We sent Noah to his nation. Then he said, “O my nation! Worship Allah: No one for you is a god other than Him. I fear for you the punishment of a Great Day.” | ||
| 60 |
قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ﴿60﴾ |
ضَلَّ,
|
| The chiefs of his nation said, “We see you on the clearly misleading (wrong) path.” | ||
| 61 |
قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِى ضَلَٰلَةٌۭ وَلَٰكِنِّى رَسُولٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿61﴾ |
ضَلَّ,
|
| He said, “O my nation, I am not in error, but a messenger from the Rabb of the universe.” | ||
| 62 |
أُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّى وَأَنصَحُ لَكُمْ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ ٱللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿62﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| “I communicate to you the messages of my Rabb, and I give you sincere advice, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” | ||
| 63 |
أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَآءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍۢ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ وَلِتَتَّقُوا۟ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ﴿63﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| “Are you surprised that a remembrance came to you from your Rabb, on a man among you, to warn you and for you to be fearful so that you may receive mercy?” | ||
| 64 |
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا عَمِينَ﴿64﴾8ع |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Then they denied him (accused him of lying, rejected his message), so We saved him and those with him on the ship and drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they had been a blind nation (a nation became blinded to see the clear message). | ||
| 65 |
۞ وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًۭا ۗ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ﴿65﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| And towards Aad, their brother Hud. He said, “O my nation! Worship Allah: nobody for you is a god other than Him. Do you not fear?” | ||
| 66 |
قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى سَفَاهَةٍۢ وَإِنَّا لَنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ﴿66﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| The chiefs of the ungrateful from his nation said, “We see you in foolishness, and we consider you among the liars.” | ||
| 67 |
قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِى سَفَاهَةٌۭ وَلَٰكِنِّى رَسُولٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿67﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| He said, "O my nation! I'm not foolish, but I am a Messenger from Rabb of the universe." | ||
| 68 |
أُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّى وَأَنَا۠ لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ أَمِينٌ﴿68﴾ |
نَصَحَ,
|
| “I communicate to you the messages of my Rabb, and I am a sincere advisor for you.” | ||
| 69 |
أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَآءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍۢ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍۢ وَزَادَكُمْ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ بَصْۜطَةًۭ ۖ فَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ ءَالَآءَ ٱللّٰهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ﴿69﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| “Are you surprised that a remembrance came to you from your Rabb, on a man among you, to warn you? Remember how He made you succeed after the nation of Noah and increased you in the creation (your worthiness) spread out (on the surface of the earth). Then remember favors of Allah, so that maybe you will get the benefit.” | ||
| 70 |
قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ ٱللّٰهَ وَحْدَهُۥ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا ۖ فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ﴿70﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| They said, “Did you come to us for us to worship Allah alone and leave what our forefathers have been worshipping? Then bring what you are promising if you are among truthful.” | ||
| 71 |
قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌۭ وَغَضَبٌ ۖ أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِى فِىٓ أَسْمَآءٍۢ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللّٰهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَٰنٍۢ ۚ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ﴿71﴾ |
سَمِي,
|
| He said, “A disgrace and wrath has already happened to you from your Rabb. Do you argue with me in names that you and your forefathers have assigned, and no authority has been sent down from Allah? Then you wait; I will be waiting with you.” | ||
| 72 |
فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ۖ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ﴿72﴾9ع |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Then We rescued him and those with him, with Our Mercy, and We eradicated (erased) those who denied Our signs-verses, and they were not going to be believers. | ||
| 73 |
وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَٰلِحًۭا ۗ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ ۖ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللّٰهِ لَكُمْ ءَايَةًۭ ۖ فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِىٓ أَرْضِ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍۢ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ﴿73﴾ |
سَا ءَ,
|
| And (We sent) towards Samood, their brother Saleh. He said, “O my nation! Worship Allah: nobody for you is god other than Him. Evidence already came to you from your Rabb. This she-camel of Allah is a sign for you. So, leave her to eat on the earth (from the land) of Allah, and do not touch her with harm, then you will be held in a painful punishment.” | ||
| 74 |
وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ عَادٍۢ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًۭا وَتَنْحِتُونَ ٱلْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًۭا ۖ فَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ ءَالَآءَ ٱللّٰهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ﴿74﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| “And remember when you were made successor after Aad and were established on earth. You (started) making palaces in its convenient places, and you were carving out homes in the mountains, so remember favors of Allah and do not act wickedly in the earth causing (spreading) corruption.” | ||
| 75 |
قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ لِمَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُمْ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ صَٰلِحًۭا مُّرْسَلٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرْسِلَ بِهِۦ مُؤْمِنُونَ﴿75﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| The chiefs of those arrogant in his nation said to those who were weak, who believed (in Allah) among them, “Do you know that Saleh is a messenger from his Rabb?” They said, “We are believers in what he was sent with.” | ||
| 76 |
قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ﴿76﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| Those arrogant said, “We do not believe in what you believed in.” | ||
| 77 |
فَعَقَرُوا۟ ٱلنَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰصَٰلِحُ ٱئْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿77﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| So, they injured the she-camel and became insolent (unruly, violent, and violated) to the commands of their Rabb, and they said, "O Saleh if you are truly a messenger, bring us what you have promised." | ||
| 78 |
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ فِى دَارِهِمْ جَٰثِمِينَ﴿78﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| Then the earthquake (trembling, tremors of the earth) seized (took hold of) them, and by the morning, they were fallen on their knees (became lifeless bodies) in their homes. | ||
| 79 |
فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالَةَ رَبِّى وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُحِبُّونَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ﴿79﴾ |
حَبَّ,
|
| Then he turned away from them and said, “O my nation, I communicated to you the message of my Rabb, and I advised you, and (but) you do not like those who give sincere advice.” | ||
| 80 |
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿80﴾ |
أَ جَل,
|
| And Lot, when he told his nation, “Do you come with the obscenity that no one in the world has committed before you?” | ||
| 81 |
إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةًۭ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌۭ مُّسْرِفُونَ﴿81﴾ |
نَسَأَ,
|
| “You come to men with a desire rather than women. You are an immoderate (a wasted) nation.” | ||
| 82 |
وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوهُم مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌۭ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ﴿82﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And there was no answer from his nation except that they said, “Take (deport) them out from your town; indeed, they have become clean men themselves (cleansed themselves).” | ||
| 83 |
فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ كَانَتْ مِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ﴿83﴾ |
غَبَرَ,
|
| Then (But) We rescued him and his family, except his wife; she was among those to be passed over (left behind). | ||
| 84 |
وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًۭا ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿84﴾10ع |
جَرَمَ,
|
| And We sent a rain of stones raining down on them; then look (note), how was the punitive measure for the criminals. | ||
| 85 |
وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًۭا ۗ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ ۖ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَأَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَٰحِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ﴿85﴾ج |
فَسَدَ,
|
| And towards Mada'ine (An ancient metropolis on the Tigris River, Iraq). Their brother Shoaib. He said, "O my nation, worship Allah; no god for you other than Him. Clear proves already came to you from your Rabb. So, fulfill the measure and the scale, do not reduce (cut short) the merchandise for the people, and do not spread mischief on the earth after it has been made peaceful. This is better for you if you are believers." | ||
| 86 |
وَلَا تَقْعُدُوا۟ بِكُلِّ صِرَٰطٍۢ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًۭا ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلًۭا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۖ وَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ﴿86﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| “And do not sit in on every route (path), assaulting and hindering from the path of Allah for those who believe in Him, and you seek crookedness. And remember when you have been few and how He increased you (in population). And look, (note) how was the punitive measure for the criminals.” | ||
| 87 |
وَإِن كَانَ طَآئِفَةٌۭ مِّنكُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلَّذِىٓ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦ وَطَآئِفَةٌۭ لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ فَٱصْبِرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ ٱللّٰهُ بَيْنَنَا ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ﴿87﴾ |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| “And there is a group among you who believe in what (message) was sent with me, and a group does not believe, (so) be patient until Allah decides between us; He is the Best of the Rulers.” | ||
| 88 |
۞ قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَٰشُعَيْبُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَكَ مِن قَرْيَتِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا ۚ قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَٰرِهِينَ﴿88﴾قف |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| The chiefs of those deemed great among his nation said, “O Shoaib, we will get you out (deport), along with those who believe with you from our town, unless you return to our nation.” He (Shoaib) said, “Even if we are unwilling?” | ||
| 89 |
قَدِ ٱفْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِى مِلَّتِكُم بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّىٰنَا ٱللّٰهُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَآ أَن نَّعُودَ فِيهَآ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ رَبُّنَا ۚ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًا ۚ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا ٱفْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْفَٰتِحِينَ﴿89﴾ |
نَجَا,
|
| “We would be fabricating lies on Allah if we were to return to embrace your religion after Allah has saved us from it. It is not for us to return to it (your religious sect) unless Allah, Our Rabb, desires. Our Rabb Has the Power (is sufficient) to Know Everything. On Allah, we trust. O, Our Rabb, disclose the truth between our nation and us, and (O, Our Rabb), You are the Best to Disclose.” | ||
| 90 |
وَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ لَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًۭا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ﴿90﴾ |
تَبِعَ,
|
| The chiefs of unbelievers among his nation said, “If you follow Shoaib, you will be losers.” | ||
| 91 |
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ فِى دَارِهِمْ جَٰثِمِينَ﴿91﴾ج صلے ۛ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| Then the tremor (sock, shaking) seized (took hold of) them, and in the morning, they were fallen on their knees (became lifeless bodies) in their homes. | ||
| 92 |
ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ شُعَيْبًۭا كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَا ۚ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ شُعَيْبًۭا كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ﴿92﴾ |
خَسِرَ,
|
| Those who rejected (denied) Shoaib were (erased) like they had never been habitant there. Those who lied (denied) Shoaib were the losers. | ||
| 93 |
فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّى وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ ءَاسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ كَٰفِرِينَ﴿93﴾11ع |
قَامَ,
|
| So, he turned back from them and said, “O my nation, I communicated messages of my Rabb and sincerely advised you, so how can I feel sorry for the nation of nonbelievers?” | ||
| 94 |
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا فِى قَرْيَةٍۢ مِّن نَّبِىٍّ إِلَّآ أَخَذْنَآ أَهْلَهَا بِٱلْبَأْسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ﴿94﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| We did not send a prophet to a township, but We held its inhabitants in hardship and hurt (to soften their hearts), so they might become humbled. | ||
| 95 |
ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ ٱلسَّيِّئَةِ ٱلْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَوا۟ وَّقَالُوا۟ قَدْ مَسَّ ءَابَآءَنَا ٱلضَّرَّآءُ وَٱلسَّرَّآءُ فَأَخَذْنَٰهُم بَغْتَةًۭ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴿95﴾ |
شَعَرَ,
|
| Then We changed the place of hardship with good until they became strong, and they said, “Our forefathers were touched with the hardship and pleasures.” Then suddenly, We seized (took hold of) them, while they did not realize (know). | ||
| 96 |
وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَٰتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبُوا۟ فَأَخَذْنَٰهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ﴿96﴾ |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| And if the inhabitants of the towns believed and feared, We would have opened on them our blessings from the sky and the earth; but they rejected (denied), so, We seized (took hold of) them on what they were earning. | ||
| 97 |
أَفَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا بَيَٰتًۭا وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ﴿97﴾ط |
بَأْ س- بَؤُ سَ,
|
| Did they become peaceful inhabitants of the town that (it will never) come to them our calamities at night while they were sleeping? | ||
| 98 |
أَوَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا ضُحًۭى وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ﴿98﴾ |
بَأْ س- بَؤُ سَ,
|
| Or did they become peaceful inhabitants of the town that (it will never) come to them our calamities in the day while they were playing? | ||
| 99 |
أَفَأَمِنُوا۟ مَكْرَ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ فَلَا يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ ٱللّٰهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ﴿99﴾12ع |
خَسِرَ,
|
| Did they become peaceful with the plan of Allah? No one becomes peaceful with the plan of Allah except the nation of the losers (they are deceiving themselves if they feel secure from the Plans of Allah). | ||
| 100 |
أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لِلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَهْلِهَآ أَن لَّوْ نَشَآءُ أَصَبْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۚ وَنَطْبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ﴿100﴾ |
سَمَعَ,
|
| Is (lessons of previous generations) not a guide for those who inherit (come later in) the earth after its inhabitants (were punished), that if We desire, We could strike them (similarly) because of their sins? And We (can) put a seal on their hearts, so they would not listen? | ||
| 101 |
تِلْكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآئِهَا ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِمَا كَذَّبُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللّٰهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿101﴾ |
كَذَبَ,
|
| These are the towns (which) We narrate to you its news. Their messengers already came to them with clear proof, but they would not believe it because they had denied it before. That is how Allah puts seals on the hearts of non-believers. | ||
| 102 |
وَمَا وَجَدْنَا لِأَكْثَرِهِم مِّنْ عَهْدٍۢ ۖ وَإِن وَجَدْنَآ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَفَٰسِقِينَ﴿102﴾ |
وَجَدَ,
|
| And We did not find most of them fulfilling their commitments. And We found most of them as offenders. | ||
| 103 |
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ فَظَلَمُوا۟ بِهَا ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ﴿103﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| Then, after them, We dispatched Musa with our signs towards Firon and his chiefs, but they became unjust with this. So, (look) consider how punitive measures were for those who cause mischief. | ||
| 104 |
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَٰفِرْعَوْنُ إِنِّى رَسُولٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿104﴾لا |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And Musa said, “O Firon, I am a messenger from Rabb of the universe.” | ||
| 105 |
حَقِيقٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن لَّآ أَقُولَ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ إِلَّا ٱلْحَقَّ ۚ قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِبَيِّنَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعِىَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ﴿105﴾ط |
بَا نَ,
|
| “I am telling the Truth on Allah, and nothing but the Truth. Indeed, I came to you with clear proofs from your Rabb, so send with me (free) children of Israel.” | ||
| 106 |
قَالَ إِن كُنتَ جِئْتَ بِـَٔايَةٍۢ فَأْتِ بِهَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ﴿106﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| (Firoin) said, “If you have come with a sign, then bring it if you are from the truthful.” | ||
| 107 |
فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ ثُعْبَانٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿107﴾ ج صلے |
بَا نَ,
|
| So, he (Musa) threw down his staff; then, it became a clear snake. | ||
| 108 |
وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِىَ بَيْضَآءُ لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ﴿108﴾13ع |
يَدَيَ,
|
| And he (Musa) pulled out his hand; then it was white for the spectators. | ||
| 109 |
قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿109﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| The chiefs from the nation of Firon said, “Indeed, This is a learned magician.” | ||
| 110 |
يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُمْ ۖ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ﴿110﴾ |
أَ رَضْ,
|
| “He (Musa) desires to take (get) you out from your land, so what is your joint decision (after consultation)?” | ||
| 111 |
قَالُوٓا۟ أَرْجِهْ وَأَخَاهُ وَأَرْسِلْ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ﴿111﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| They said, “Postpone him and his brother and send a message to gather in the fields (open ground).” | ||
| 112 |
يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَٰحِرٍ عَلِيمٍۢ﴿112﴾ |
سَحَرَ,
|
| “To bring you, every learned magician.” | ||
| 113 |
وَجَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ﴿113﴾ |
أَجَرَ,
|
| And the magicians came to Firon and said, “Is there a certain reward for us if we conquer?” | ||
| 114 |
قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ﴿114﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| He (Firon) said, “Yes, and indeed you will be among those who are close (my favorites).” | ||
| 115 |
قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُلْقِينَ﴿115﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| They said, “O Musa! Either you throw down (first), or we will be the (first) throwers.” | ||
| 116 |
قَالَ أَلْقُوا۟ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا۟ سَحَرُوٓا۟ أَعْيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَآءُو بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍۢ﴿116﴾ |
رَهِبَ,
|
| He (Musa) said, “You throw down!” Then they threw their magic in front of the eyes of the people, and it frightened them, and they came up with a great charm (spell). | ||
| 117 |
۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۖ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ﴿117﴾ج |
لَقِفَ,
|
| And We inspired Musa: “Throw down your staff.” And so, it was usurping what they fabricated. | ||
| 118 |
فَوَقَعَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿118﴾ج |
عَمِلَ,
|
| Then the truth became evident and invalidated what they had been doing. | ||
| 119 |
فَغُلِبُوا۟ هُنَالِكَ وَٱنقَلَبُوا۟ صَٰغِرِينَ﴿119﴾ج |
غَلَبَ,
|
| There they were then defeated, and they returned in contempt. | ||
| 120 |
وَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ﴿120﴾ج صلے |
لَقِيَ,
|
| And the magicians accepted (the truth) submitted, prostrating. | ||
| 121 |
قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿121﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| They (magicians) said, “We believe in the Rabb of the universe.” | ||
| 122 |
رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ﴿122﴾ |
رَبَّ,
|
| “The Rabb of Musa and Harun.” | ||
| 123 |
قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَمَكْرٌۭ مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا۟ مِنْهَآ أَهْلَهَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿123﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Firon said, “You believe in it before I permitted you? Surely, You made this plan that you conspired in the city to expel its people. Then soon you will know.” | ||
| 124 |
لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَٰفٍۢ ثُمَّ لَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ﴿124﴾ |
يَدَيَ,
|
| “Surely, I will cut off your hands and feet from opposite sides; then, you will be hung on the cross altogether.” | ||
| 125 |
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ﴿125﴾ج |
قَالَ,
|
| They (magicians) said, “To our, Rabb is our final return.” | ||
| 126 |
وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّآ إِلَّآ أَنْ ءَامَنَّا بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَآءَتْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًۭا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ﴿126﴾14ع |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| “You take revenge on us only because we believe in signs of our Rabb that came to us.” “O our Rabb! Give complete patience to us and grant us death being Muslims.” (Our Rabb, pour out patience on us and let us die in peace) ࣖ | ||
| 127 |
وَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ أَتَذَرُ مُوسَىٰ وَقَوْمَهُۥ لِيُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَذَرَكَ وَءَالِهَتَكَ ۚ قَالَ سَنُقَتِّلُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَنَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ وَإِنَّا فَوْقَهُمْ قَٰهِرُونَ﴿127﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| Chiefs of Firon's Nation asked, "Are you going to let go of Musa and his people so they can spread mischief on the earth and leave you and your gods?" He (Firon) replied, "We will kill their sons but let their women live. Over them, we are conquerors." | ||
| 128 |
قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱللّٰهِ وَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ ۖ إِنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ لِلّٰهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَٱلْعَٰقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ﴿128﴾ |
صَبَرَ,
|
| Musa told his nation, “Ask help from Allah and be patient. The earth is for Allah. He gives inheritance of this to whom He desires among His slaves, and successors will be the God-fearing.” | ||
| 129 |
قَالُوٓا۟ أُوذِينَا مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَأْتِيَنَا وَمِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جِئْتَنَا ۚ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ﴿129﴾15ع |
قَالَ,
|
| They said, “We suffered before you came to us, and after you came (produced message) to us.” He (Musa) said, “Maybe your Rabb will destroy your enemies and will make you a successor in the land; then He will see how you will do (respond).” | ||
| 130 |
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ﴿130﴾ |
ثَمَرَ,
|
| Then We seized (took hold) the family of Firon with years of famine, and We reduced production of the fruits (caused to be defective) so that they may remember. (Note. Possible causes of fruit defects include viral infection, poor pollination, hormone imbalance, fruit from young orchards, or extra carpel). | ||
| 131 |
فَإِذَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْحَسَنَةُ قَالُوا۟ لَنَا هَٰذِهِۦ ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۭ يَطَّيَّرُوا۟ بِمُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّمَا طَٰٓئِرُهُمْ عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿131﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Then, when good (times) came to them, they said, “This is because of us (because we did well).” And when harm (bad times) reached them, they associated bad luck with (because of) Musa and those with him. Was It not that their bad luck was with Allah, but many did not know? | ||
| 132 |
وَقَالُوا۟ مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِۦ مِنْ ءَايَةٍۢ لِّتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿132﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And they said, “No matter what signs you will bring for us to be fascinated with, we will not believe in you.” | ||
| 133 |
فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلطُّوفَانَ وَٱلْجَرَادَ وَٱلْقُمَّلَ وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ وَٱلدَّمَ ءَايَٰتٍۢ مُّفَصَّلَٰتٍۢ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا مُّجْرِمِينَ﴿133﴾ |
رَسِلَ,
|
| So, we sent them the floods, locusts, lice infestations, frogs, and blood (as) detailed (unmistakable) signs, but they became arrogant. They were a nation of criminals. | ||
| 134 |
وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّجْزُ قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَى ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ ۖ لَئِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا ٱلرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ﴿134﴾ج |
قَالَ,
|
| And when the punishment fell (happened) on them, they said, “O Musa, call your Rabb for us,(to grant us) what He has promised you. If you remove the punishment from us, we will become believers in you and send the Children of Israel with you.” | ||
| 135 |
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ ٱلرِّجْزَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ هُم بَٰلِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ﴿135﴾ |
أَ جَل,
|
| But when We removed the punishment from them for some time for them to deliver (fulfill) it, they broke their promise. | ||
| 136 |
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا غَٰفِلِينَ﴿136﴾ |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Then We took revenge on them and drowned them in the sea because they denied and neglected Our signs. | ||
| 137 |
وَأَوْرَثْنَا ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا۟ يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَٰرِقَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَغَٰرِبَهَا ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا ۖ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ ۖ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُۥ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْرِشُونَ﴿137﴾ |
ضَلَّ,
|
| We then gave the inheritance to oppressed people in the east and west of the land, where We had blessings. The Good Words of your Rabb were completed for the children of Israel because they were patient. We destroyed all that Firon and his nation erected (built). | ||
| 138 |
وَجَٰوَزْنَا بِبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَصْنَامٍۢ لَّهُمْ ۚ قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَى ٱجْعَل لَّنَآ إِلَٰهًۭا كَمَا لَهُمْ ءَالِهَةٌۭ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌۭ تَجْهَلُونَ﴿138﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Then We let the children of Israel pass over the sea, and when they came across a nation worshipping their idols, they asked Musa to make for them a god-like theirs. He (Musa) replied, “You are an ignorant nation.” | ||
| 139 |
إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مُتَبَّرٌۭ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَٰطِلٌۭ مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿139﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| “These will be destroyed, and their deeds are invalid and worthless.” | ||
| 140 |
قَالَ أَغَيْرَ ٱللّٰهِ أَبْغِيكُمْ إِلَٰهًۭا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿140﴾ |
إِله,
|
| (Musa) said, “Do you desire a god other than Allah when He is the One Who favored you over the worlds? ” | ||
| 141 |
وَإِذْ أَنجَيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۖ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌۭ﴿141﴾16ع |
سَا ءَ,
|
| (You remember) when We rescued you from the family of Firon, who used to harm you with grievous punishment, killing your sons and letting your woman live. This was a great test from your Rabb for you. | ||
| 142 |
۞ وَوَٰعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰ ثَلَٰثِينَ لَيْلَةًۭ وَأَتْمَمْنَٰهَا بِعَشْرٍۢ فَتَمَّ مِيقَٰتُ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةًۭ ۚ وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَخِيهِ هَٰرُونَ ٱخْلُفْنِى فِى قَوْمِى وَأَصْلِحْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ﴿142﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| We appointed a time and place for Musa for thirty nights and completed that with ten; therefore, forty nights were to be completed for his Rabb. And Musa told his brother Haroon: “Be a leader in my place (in my absence as a successor) in my nation, and reform, and do not follow the path of those who cause corruption.” | ||
| 143 |
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ مُوسَىٰ لِمِيقَٰتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِىٓ أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ لَن تَرَىٰنِى وَلَٰكِنِ ٱنظُرْ إِلَى ٱلْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ ٱسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُۥ فَسَوْفَ تَرَىٰنِى ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُۥ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُۥ دَكًّۭا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًۭا ۚ فَلَمَّآ أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿143﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And when Musa came to meet Us at our appointed time and place, he spoke to his Rabb and said, “O my Rabb, show me so, that I may look at you.” He said, “You would never see Me, but look at the mountain; if it stays in its place, you will soon see Me.” But when his Rabb Glorified (appeared) on the mountain, He made (turned mountain) it into rubble, and Musa fell to the ground stunned. Then when he recovered, he said, “Praise be to you, I repent to you, and I am first of the believers.” [(Note: Why you can not see Allah (Subhan-a- Wa Taala) He is the Creator, and created things have to be different from the Creator. He made the light, eyes, etc., and we cannot use these same tools to See Him)]. | ||
| 144 |
قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّى ٱصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ بِرِسَٰلَٰتِى وَبِكَلَٰمِى فَخُذْ مَآ ءَاتَيْتُكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ﴿144﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| He said, “I have chosen you above the people for My messages and My Speaking. So, hold on to what I give you and be among the thankful.” | ||
| 145 |
وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مَّوْعِظَةًۭ وَتَفْصِيلًۭا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُوا۟ بِأَحْسَنِهَا ۚ سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ دَارَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ﴿145﴾ |
وَعَظَ,
|
| And We prescribed (wrote) everything for you in the slabs, providing advice and details for everything. “Uphold it with power and instruct your nation to follow the (path) of doing good." Soon, I will show you the home of the offenders.” | ||
| 146 |
سَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كُلَّ ءَايَةٍۢ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ سَبِيلَ ٱلرُّشْدِ لَا يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلًۭا وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ سَبِيلَ ٱلْغَىِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا غَٰفِلِينَ﴿146﴾ |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Soon, I will turn away my signs from those arrogant on the earth without justification. And when they see any sign, they do not believe in it; even when they see the right path, they will not take it; and when they see a way inclined towards seduction (and temptation), they will hold it for a course. That is because they denied Our signs, and (to Our Signs) they have not paid attention (they are inattentive and negligent). | ||
| 147 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿147﴾17ع |
كَذَبَ,
|
| And those who deny Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter, their deeds will be nothing (of value). Why should they not be repaid except for what they were doing? | ||
| 148 |
وَٱتَّخَذَ قَوْمُ مُوسَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِنْ حُلِيِّهِمْ عِجْلًۭا جَسَدًۭا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٌ ۚ أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمْ وَلَا يَهْدِيهِمْ سَبِيلًا ۘ ٱتَّخَذُوهُ وَكَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ﴿148﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| In his absence, the nation of Musa took (made) a body (like a) calf from their jewelry, a body which was mooing (like a) calf (lowed). Did they not see that it could not speak or guide them on a path? They took it (for worship), and they were unjust. | ||
| 149 |
وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فِىٓ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْا۟ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ﴿149﴾ |
خَسِرَ,
|
| And when (the matter) slipped out from their hands and they saw they were already misguided, they said, “If our Rabb will not have Mercy on us, and forgive us, then we will be among the losers.” | ||
| 150 |
وَلَمَّا رَجَعَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ غَضْبَٰنَ أَسِفًۭا قَالَ بِئْسَمَا خَلَفْتُمُونِى مِنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ أَعَجِلْتُمْ أَمْرَ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ وَأَلْقَى ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ وَأَخَذَ بِرَأْسِ أَخِيهِ يَجُرُّهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِ ۚ قَالَ ٱبْنَ أُمَّ إِنَّ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱسْتَضْعَفُونِى وَكَادُوا۟ يَقْتُلُونَنِى فَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِىَ ٱلْأَعْدَآءَ وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِى مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿150﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And when Musa returned to his nation, furious and in sorrow, he said, "What a wretched way you followed after me (in my absence). Did you hurry in forsaking the command of your Rabb?" And he placed the slabs; and took hold of his brother's head, dragging him to himself. He (Haroon) said, "Son of my mother, indeed, the nation made me weak, and they were about to kill me; so, do not malice me with the enemies, and do not make (count) me with the nation of the unjust." | ||
| 151 |
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِأَخِى وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِى رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ﴿151﴾18ع |
غَفَرَ,
|
| He said, “O my Rabb, forgive my brother and me, and enter us in your Mercy; for you are the Most Merciful of Merciful.” | ||
| 152 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ ٱلْعِجْلَ سَيَنَالُهُمْ غَضَبٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَذِلَّةٌۭ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُفْتَرِينَ﴿152﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| Those who took the calf will soon face fury from their Rabb, as well as humiliation in the life of this world. This is how We reward those who fabricate lies. | ||
| 153 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ثُمَّ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا وَءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿153﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| And for those who did the evil, repented and believed, indeed, after that, your Rabb is Most-Forgiving, Most-Merciful. | ||
| 154 |
وَلَمَّا سَكَتَ عَن مُّوسَى ٱلْغَضَبُ أَخَذَ ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ ۖ وَفِى نُسْخَتِهَا هُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِرَبِّهِمْ يَرْهَبُونَ﴿154﴾ |
هَدَى,
|
| And when Musa calmed down after the fury, he picked up the slabs. These transcripts contain guidance and mercy to those who fear their Rabb. | ||
| 155 |
وَٱخْتَارَ مُوسَىٰ قَوْمَهُۥ سَبْعِينَ رَجُلًۭا لِّمِيقَٰتِنَا ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلرَّجْفَةُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوْ شِئْتَ أَهْلَكْتَهُم مِّن قَبْلُ وَإِيَّٰىَ ۖ أَتُهْلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ مِنَّآ ۖ إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا فِتْنَتُكَ تُضِلُّ بِهَا مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَهْدِى مَن تَشَآءُ ۖ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَٱرْحَمْنَا ۖ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْغَٰفِرِينَ﴿155﴾ |
شِاءَ,
|
| And Musa selected seventy men from his nation for our meeting at the appointed time and place. Then a ground tremor seized them, and he said, "Oh Rabb" if You want, you could kill me and them before." Will you destroy us because of what the foolish among us did? You subjected them to temptation (That was only Your test), You let them be misguided from this whomever You desire, and You guide whomever You wish. You are our Supporter, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the Best of Forgivers." | ||
| 156 |
۞ وَٱكْتُبْ لَنَا فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ عَذَابِىٓ أُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَنْ أَشَآءُ ۖ وَرَحْمَتِى وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۢ ۚ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿156﴾ج |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| "And prescribe for us goodness in this world and the hereafter. We have reached out to You for guidance." He said, "My punishment reaches whom I desire, and (but) My mercy encompasses everything. Soon, I will prescribe that for those who fear and pay charity and those who believe in Our signs." | ||
| 157 |
ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلرَّسُولَ ٱلنَّبِىَّ ٱلْأُمِّىَّ ٱلَّذِى يَجِدُونَهُۥ مَكْتُوبًا عِندَهُمْ فِى ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَٱلْإِنجِيلِ يَأْمُرُهُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَىٰهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْخَبَٰٓئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ وَٱلْأَغْلَٰلَ ٱلَّتِى كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلنُّورَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُۥٓ ۙ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ﴿157﴾19ع |
نَزَلَ,
|
| Those who will follow the messenger, the unlettered prophet, the one they find him foreordained (written) in the Torah with them, and the Injeel, he instructs them to do the good (beneficial, known) and forbids them from (what is) prohibited and makes lawful for them what is clean and forbids on them the evil (deeds) and relieves them of their burden and shackles that were upon them, then those who believe in him and assisted him and help him and follow the (path of) light that was sent down with him they will be successful. | ||
| 158 |
قُلْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللّٰهِ إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعًا ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ٱلنَّبِىِّ ٱلْأُمِّىِّ ٱلَّذِى يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللّٰهِ وَكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَٱتَّبِعُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ﴿158﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| Say, "O the humankind; I am Allah's Messenger to you all, the One (Allah) for Whom is the kingdom of the universe and the earth. There is no God except Him. He gives life, and He gives death." So, believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet who believes in Allah and His Words. And follow him so that maybe you will be guided. | ||
| 159 |
وَمِن قَوْمِ مُوسَىٰٓ أُمَّةٌۭ يَهْدُونَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَبِهِۦ يَعْدِلُونَ﴿159﴾ |
أَ مَّ,
|
| And among the nation of Musa is a group (community) that guides with the truth and does justice by it. | ||
| 160 |
وَقَطَّعْنَٰهُمُ ٱثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ أَسْبَاطًا أُمَمًۭا ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱسْتَسْقَىٰهُ قَوْمُهُۥٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْحَجَرَ ۖ فَٱنۢبَجَسَتْ مِنْهُ ٱثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًۭا ۖ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍۢ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۚ وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْغَمَٰمَ وَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ ۖ كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ﴿160﴾ |
رَدَفَ,
|
| We divided them into twelve (12) tribal communities. And We Inspired Musa when he asked for drink (water) for his nation, “Strike on the rock with his staff.” Then twelve springs gushed out from it. Then, all people came to know of each of their drinking places. And We provided shade on them with clouds and sent them Manna and Salwa: “Eat from the clean things from what We have provided for you.” And We were not unjust to them, but they were unjust to themselves. | ||
| 161 |
وَإِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْكُنُوا۟ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةَ وَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ وَقُولُوا۟ حِطَّةٌۭ وَٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْبَابَ سُجَّدًۭا نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِكُمْ ۚ سَنَزِيدُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿161﴾ |
غَفَرَ,
|
| And when it was told to them, “Inhabit in this town and eat from anywhere you like in there, and say (words of) repentance, and enter the door while prostrating (in humility), We will forgive you for your mistakes and will increase (rewards for) the beneficent.” | ||
| 162 |
فَبَدَّلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ قَوْلًا غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِجْزًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَظْلِمُونَ﴿162﴾20ع |
رَسِلَ,
|
| Then those who were unjust among them changed the wordings with other words than what was told to them; so, We sent punishment on them from the sky because they were unjust. | ||
| 163 |
وَسْـَٔلْهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِى كَانَتْ حَاضِرَةَ ٱلْبَحْرِ إِذْ يَعْدُونَ فِى ٱلسَّبْتِ إِذْ تَأْتِيهِمْ حِيتَانُهُمْ يَوْمَ سَبْتِهِمْ شُرَّعًۭا وَيَوْمَ لَا يَسْبِتُونَ ۙ لَا تَأْتِيهِمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَبْلُوهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ﴿163﴾ |
قَرَى,
|
| And ask them about the town that settled (near) the sea when they violated (exceeded the allowed days of) the Sabbath. When their fish came to them on the Sabbath day legally revealing (appearing), and on the day of no Sabbath, they will not come (appearing) to them. That is how we seduce (test) them because they have been immoral. | ||
| 164 |
وَإِذْ قَالَتْ أُمَّةٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ لِمَ تَعِظُونَ قَوْمًا ۙ ٱللّٰهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًۭا شَدِيدًۭا ۖ قَالُوا۟ مَعْذِرَةً إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ﴿164﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And when a group among them said, “Why do you advise a nation that Allah is going to destroy or punish them with a severe punishment?” They said, “As a reason for us (to ask) for forgiveness from your Rabb and also, that maybe they (Sabbath-breakers) will fear.” | ||
| 165 |
فَلَمَّا نَسُوا۟ مَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنجَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلسُّوٓءِ وَأَخَذْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ بِعَذَابٍۭ بَـِٔيسٍۭ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ﴿165﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| Then, when they forgot what they were reminded of, We rescued those restraining evil and took hold of those unjust with terrible punishment because they were immoral. | ||
| 166 |
فَلَمَّا عَتَوْا۟ عَن مَّا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ قُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُوا۟ قِرَدَةً خَٰسِـِٔينَ﴿166﴾ |
خَسَّ,
|
| Then when they became insolent (unruly, violent haughty) about what they were forbidden from, We said to them, be reduced to (become) monkeys. | ||
| 167 |
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكَ لَيَبْعَثَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ مَن يَسُومُهُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَسَرِيعُ ٱلْعِقَابِ ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿167﴾ |
عَذُبَ,
|
| And when Your Rabb announced that, He would surely send on them, until the day of standing, those who would harm them with severe punishment. Indeed, Your Rabb is fast in punitive punishment measures, yet He is Most-Forgiving, Most-Merciful. | ||
| 168 |
وَقَطَّعْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أُمَمًۭا ۖ مِّنْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَبَلَوْنَٰهُم بِٱلْحَسَنَٰتِ وَٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ﴿168﴾ |
رَجَعَ,
|
| And we divided them into communities (to spread out) on the earth. Some among them were righteous, and some of them were other than that. And We tested them with good fortune and misfortune, so maybe they will return. | ||
| 169 |
فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌۭ وَرِثُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَأْخُذُونَ عَرَضَ هَٰذَا ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ وَيَقُولُونَ سَيُغْفَرُ لَنَا وَإِن يَأْتِهِمْ عَرَضٌۭ مِّثْلُهُۥ يَأْخُذُوهُ ۚ أَلَمْ يُؤْخَذْ عَلَيْهِم مِّيثَٰقُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَن لَّا يَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ إِلَّا ٱلْحَقَّ وَدَرَسُوا۟ مَا فِيهِ ۗ وَٱلدَّارُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ﴿169﴾ |
عَرُضَ,
|
| Then successors after them who follow as inheritors of the Book and they took, opposing for lower (took lower of worldly gains in opposition of higher teachings of Torah) and they say, "We will be forgiven." And if similar (material gains) come to them, they would take that again. Wasn't the covenant of the Book taken from them to say nothing about Allah except the truth, and they studied what is in it? (They should ascribe to Allah only the words in the Book)? But the home of Hereafter is better for those who fear; do you not understand? | ||
| 170 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُمَسِّكُونَ بِٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُصْلِحِينَ﴿170﴾ |
مَسَكَ,
|
| Those who hold fast ( adhere, are attached with devotion) to the Book and establish the prayers. Indeed, We will not waste the reward of the righteous. | ||
| 171 |
۞ وَإِذْ نَتَقْنَا ٱلْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُۥ ظُلَّةٌۭ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ خُذُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ﴿171﴾21ع |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And when we firmly establish the mountain above them like a shade, they consider that it would fall on them: “Hold with power what We give you and remember what is in it, so, maybe you will become fearful.” | ||
| 172 |
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنۢ بَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ مِن ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ ۛ شَهِدْنَآ ۛ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَٰذَا غَٰفِلِينَ﴿172﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| And when your Rabb summoned the children of Adam to appear for their descendants and themselves to give witness. “Is it not that I am your Rabb?” They replied, “Yes, and we testify.” Therefore, on the day of the standing, do not say, “We were unaware of this.” | ||
| 173 |
أَوْ تَقُولُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَشْرَكَ ءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا ذُرِّيَّةًۭ مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۖ أَفَتُهْلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ﴿173﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Nor can you say, “Our forefathers have made partners before, and we are their offspring after them (we were only following what our forefathers have shown us); will You destroy us because of what was done by those who were on falsehood?” | ||
| 174 |
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ﴿174﴾ |
رَجَعَ,
|
| And that is how We make verses clear (by providing details), so maybe they will return. | ||
| 175 |
وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَٱنسَلَخَ مِنْهَا فَأَتْبَعَهُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ﴿175﴾ |
أَثَرَ,
|
| Recite to them news of one to whom We gave Our verses, but these (verses) passed through him (he abandoned the warnings and messages), and Shaytan followed him. (If you do not recite Al-Quran & learn the message, then you do not know what Guidance is and become an easy target by Shaytan to trap and misguide). | ||
| 176 |
وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَرَفَعْنَٰهُ بِهَا وَلَٰكِنَّهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ ۚ فَمَثَلُهُۥ كَمَثَلِ ٱلْكَلْبِ إِن تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْهِ يَلْهَثْ أَوْ تَتْرُكْهُ يَلْهَث ۚ ذَّٰلِكَ مَثَلُ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ۚ فَٱقْصُصِ ٱلْقَصَصَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ﴿176﴾ |
شِاءَ,
|
| If We desired, We would have raised his rank with this, but he remained on the earth and followed his desires. Then his example is like that of a dog: if you burden him, he breathes heavily, and if you leave him, he breathes heavily. That is an example of the people who denied Our signs. Therefore, narrate the narrations (these stories) so that they may reflect. | ||
| 177 |
سَآءَ مَثَلًا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَأَنفُسَهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَظْلِمُونَ﴿177﴾ |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Evil is the example of the nation which denied Our signs-verses and has been unjust to themselves. | ||
| 178 |
مَن يَهْدِ ٱللّٰهُ فَهُوَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِى ۖ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ﴿178﴾ |
خَسِرَ,
|
| Whoever Allah Guides is guided, and whoever He lets get lost are the losers. | ||
| 179 |
وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ ۖ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌۭ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌۭ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ ءَاذَانٌۭ لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰفِلُونَ﴿179﴾ |
سَمَعَ,
|
| And We scattered (spread out in the earth) many among the jinn and the humankind for Hell. They have hearts with which they do not understand. They have eyes with which they do not see. They have ears with which they do not listen. These are like animals, but they are more misled. Those are the ignorant. | ||
| 180 |
وَلِلّٰهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِىٓ أَسْمَٰٓئِهِۦ ۚ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿180﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| For Allah are the Most Beautiful names, call Him with these (Best Names) and leave those who deviate (stray) from the straight path in His names. They will be punished soon for their actions. | ||
| 181 |
وَمِمَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ أُمَّةٌۭ يَهْدُونَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَبِهِۦ يَعْدِلُونَ﴿181﴾22ع |
أَ مَّ,
|
| And among them, We created a nation that guides with truth, and with this (guidance), they do (establish) justice. | ||
| 182 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿182﴾ج صلے |
آ ىي -آية,
|
| And those who reject Our signs, We will approach them slowly from where they do not know. | ||
| 183 |
وَأُمْلِى لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِى مَتِينٌ﴿183﴾ |
يَدَيَ,
|
| And I will let them enjoy it for a long time; indeed, My plan is firm. | ||
| 184 |
أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ ۗ مَا بِصَاحِبِهِم مِّن جِنَّةٍ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ﴿184﴾ |
نَذَرَ,
|
| Are they not thinking? Their companion is not a Jinn (he isn't mad). He is only a clear warner. | ||
| 185 |
أَوَلَمْ يَنظُرُوا۟ فِى مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللّٰهُ مِن شَىْءٍۢ وَأَنْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَدِ ٱقْتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُمْ ۖ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿185﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Do they not see in the kingdom of the universe, the earth, and anything Allah has created that perhaps they are reaching their appointed time? What further discussion will they have after this? | ||
| 186 |
مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللّٰهُ فَلَا هَادِىَ لَهُۥ ۚ وَيَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ﴿186﴾ |
طَغَا,
|
| Whoever Allah lets go misguided has no guide for him. And He Leaves them straying in tyranny. | ||
| 187 |
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّى ۖ لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَآ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ ثَقُلَتْ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا تَأْتِيكُمْ إِلَّا بَغْتَةًۭ ۗ يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِىٌّ عَنْهَا ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿187﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| They ask you about the time, “When will it be anchored?” Say, “Its knowledge is only with my Rabb. No one can disclose its time except Him. It is heavy in the universe and the earth. It will not come to you except suddenly.” They ask you if you are welcoming (know) this. Say, “Its knowledge is with Allah,” but many humankind does not know (that Day of Judgment is decided only by Allah). | ||
| 188 |
قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى نَفْعًۭا وَلَا ضَرًّا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ ۚ وَلَوْ كُنتُ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ لَٱسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْرِ وَمَا مَسَّنِىَ ٱلسُّوٓءُ ۚ إِنْ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌۭ وَبَشِيرٌۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿188﴾23ع |
كَثَرَ,
|
| Say, “I do not have control over benefiting myself or harming myself, except what Allah desires. If I had known the unseen (future), I would have gathered many good things, and no harm would have touched me. I am only a Warner and Provide good news for the believers. | ||
| 189 |
۞ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍۢ وَٰحِدَةٍۢ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيْهَا ۖ فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّىٰهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلًا خَفِيفًۭا فَمَرَّتْ بِهِۦ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَثْقَلَت دَّعَوَا ٱللّٰهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَئِنْ ءَاتَيْتَنَا صَٰلِحًۭا لَّنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ﴿189﴾ |
خَلَقَ,
|
| He is the one Who created you from a single soul and made from it its mate so he can live (be tranquil) with her. Then, when he covered her, she carried a little weight and passed (carried) with it. But when she became heavy, they called Allah their Rabb, “If you give us a sound (child), then we will be among the thankful.” | ||
| 190 |
فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُمَا صَٰلِحًۭا جَعَلَا لَهُۥ شُرَكَآءَ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمَا ۚ فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللّٰهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ﴿190﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| Then when He gave them a sound (child), they made partners for Him in what He gave them (They also thank others besides Allah). Allah is most highly exalted above what they make partners. | ||
| 191 |
أَيُشْرِكُونَ مَا لَا يَخْلُقُ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ﴿191﴾ز صلے |
شِاءَ,
|
| Do they make partners who do not create anything and are themselves created? | ||
| 192 |
وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ لَهُمْ نَصْرًۭا وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ﴿192﴾ |
نَفُسَ,
|
| And they cannot help them, and they can not help themselves. | ||
| 193 |
وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ لَا يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ ۚ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ أَمْ أَنتُمْ صَٰمِتُونَ﴿193﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| And if you call them for guidance, they do not follow you. It is the same for you if you call them or stay silent. | ||
| 194 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ عِبَادٌ أَمْثَالُكُمْ ۖ فَٱدْعُوهُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿194﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| Those you call other than Allah are servants like you. Then if you call them, let them answer if you are truthful. | ||
| 195 |
أَلَهُمْ أَرْجُلٌۭ يَمْشُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ أَيْدٍۢ يَبْطِشُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌۭ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ ءَاذَانٌۭ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۗ قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَكُمْ ثُمَّ كِيدُونِ فَلَا تُنظِرُونِ﴿195﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| Do they have feet with which they walk or hands with which they hold? Or do they have eyes with which they see? Or do they have ears with which they listen? Say, “Call your partners, then plan for me, and do not wait.” | ||
| 196 |
إِنَّ وَلِـِّۧىَ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۖ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ﴿196﴾ |
كَتَبَ,
|
| "Indeed, my supporter is Allah, the One Who sent down the Book, and He's the One Who Supports the righteous." | ||
| 197 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ﴿197﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| Those you call other than Him cannot help you nor help themselves. | ||
| 198 |
وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ لَا يَسْمَعُوا۟ ۖ وَتَرَىٰهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ﴿198﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| If you call them for guidance, they do not listen. If you see them looking at you, they do not see. | ||
| 199 |
خُذِ ٱلْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِٱلْعُرْفِ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ﴿199﴾ |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| Hold forgiveness, instruct with the approved (to be good, kind, favorable, beneficial), and turn away from the ignorant. | ||
| 200 |
وَإِمَّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ نَزْغٌۭ فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللّٰهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ﴿200﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And when Shaitan incites you with evil as evil thoughts (causes you to deviate with evil wandering thoughts)," seek refuge in Allah. He is All Listening, All-Knowing. | ||
| 201 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ إِذَا مَسَّهُمْ طَٰٓئِفٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ تَذَكَّرُوا۟ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْصِرُونَ﴿201﴾ج |
مَسَّ,
|
| Indeed, when a group of shaitan touches them, those who fear Allah remember, and then they see (recognize). | ||
| 202 |
وَإِخْوَٰنُهُمْ يَمُدُّونَهُمْ فِى ٱلْغَىِّ ثُمَّ لَا يُقْصِرُونَ﴿202﴾ |
أ خو,
|
| But those who are brothers (of Shaitan) get help with temptations (seducing) to mislead, and then they will not hold back (restrain themselves from doing evil). | ||
| 203 |
وَإِذَا لَمْ تَأْتِهِم بِـَٔايَةٍۢ قَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا ٱجْتَبَيْتَهَا ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَتَّبِعُ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ مِن رَّبِّى ۚ هَٰذَا بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿203﴾ |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| And when you do not bring them an Ayat -Sign, they say, “Why have you not (made up) the answer?” Say, “I only follow what is inspired to me from My Rabb.” This light is from your Rabb, a guidance and mercy for the believers. | ||

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥ وَأَنصِتُوا۟ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ﴿204﴾ |
قَرَأَ,
|
| And when the Quran is recited, listen to it, and try to listen (be silent and pay attention) so that you may get mercy. | ||
| 205 |
وَٱذْكُر رَّبَّكَ فِى نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعًۭا وَخِيفَةًۭ وَدُونَ ٱلْجَهْرِ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ بِٱلْغُدُوِّ وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِ وَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْغَٰفِلِينَ﴿205﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And remember your Rabb for yourself, humbly and fearfully, and quietly in words (without raising the voice), in the mornings and the evenings, and do not be inattentive. | ||

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِۦ وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُۥ وَلَهُۥ يَسْجُدُونَ ۩﴿206﴾24ع |
كَبَرَ,
|
| Those with your Rabb do not become arrogant to worship Him. They praise Him, and to Him they prostrate. ۩ Prostration. |
