سورة النبأ - 78 - |

|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
۞ عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ﴿1﴾ج |
سَأَلَ,
|
| What are they asking each other about? | ||
| 2 |
عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿2﴾لا |
عَظُمَ,
|
| About the news of the Great (Event). | ||
| 3 |
ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ﴿3﴾ط |
خَلَفَ,
|
| In that, they are disputing among themselves. | ||
| 4 |
كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ﴿4﴾لا |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Indeed, soon they will know. | ||
| 5 |
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ﴿5﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Certainly, they will soon know. | ||
| 6 |
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًۭا﴿6﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| Have We not made the earth ready as a resting place? | ||
| 7 |
وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًۭا﴿7﴾ص لا |
جَبَلَ,
|
| And the mountains firmly established? | ||
| 8 |
وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا﴿8﴾لا |
زَاجَ,
|
| And We created you in pairs? | ||
| 9 |
وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًۭا﴿9﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And We made your sleep to get rest? | ||
| 10 |
وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا﴿10﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And We made the night a cover? | ||
| 11 |
وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشًۭا﴿11﴾ص |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And We made the day as means of sustenance? | ||
| 12 |
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًۭا شِدَادًۭا﴿12﴾لا |
فَاقَ,
|
| And We made (cover) over you seven strong? | ||
| 13 |
وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًۭا وَهَّاجًۭا﴿13﴾ص لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And We made the (sun) lamp with brilliant radiance? | ||
| 14 |
وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ مَآءًۭ ثَجَّاجًۭا﴿14﴾لا |
نَزَلَ,
|
| And We sent down water from the hurricanes (cyclones and tornadoes) streaming, flowing copiously? | ||
| 15 |
لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبًّۭا وَنَبَاتًۭا﴿15﴾لا |
خَرَجَ,
|
| To produce grains (seed, kernel, granules) and vegetation (plants, produce, herbs, grass, and seedlings). | ||
| 16 |
وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا﴿16﴾ط |
جَنَّ,
|
| And gardens densely grown in layers (upon layers) of dense forests? | ||
| 17 |
إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتًۭا﴿17﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| The Day of the (Final) Decision has been fixed for an appointed meeting time. | ||
| 18 |
يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجًۭا﴿18﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| On the Day when the Trumpet is blown, you will come in groups. | ||
| 19 |
وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَٰبًۭا﴿19﴾لا |
سَمَا,
|
| And the sky will be opened; then it will become doors. | ||
| 20 |
وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا﴿20﴾ط |
سَارَ,
|
| And the mountains will be running and will become a mirage. | ||
| 21 |
إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًۭا﴿21﴾ص لا |
جَهَنَّم,
|
| Indeed, Hell will be in waiting, lying in wait (ambush). | ||
| 22 |
لِّلطَّٰغِينَ مَـَٔابًۭا﴿22﴾لا |
طَغَا,
|
| The returning place for those who exceed boundaries. | ||
| 23 |
لَّٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحْقَابًۭا﴿23﴾ج |
لَبِثَ,
|
| Staying there for long periods of time. | ||
| 24 |
لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْدًۭا وَلَا شَرَابًا﴿24﴾لا |
ذَاقَ,
|
| They will not experience any coolness or have any drinks. | ||
| 25 |
إِلَّا حَمِيمًۭا وَغَسَّاقًۭا﴿25﴾لا |
حَمَى,
|
| Except for heat and darkness. | ||
| 26 |
جَزَآءًۭ وِفَاقًا﴿26﴾ط |
جَزَى,
|
| An appropriate reward. | ||
| 27 |
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ حِسَابًۭا﴿27﴾لا |
رَجَا,
|
| Indeed, they were not expecting an account. | ||
| 28 |
وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابًۭا﴿28﴾ط |
كَذَبَ,
|
| And they denied Our verses-signs lying. | ||
| 29 |
وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ كِتَٰبًۭا﴿29﴾لا |
كَتَبَ,
|
| And (but) We have accounted for everything in the register (written). | ||
| 30 |
فَذُوقُوا۟ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا﴿30﴾1ع |
عَذُبَ,
|
| So, taste! We will only increase punishment for you. | ||
| 31 |
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا﴿31﴾لا |
تَقَى,
|
| Indeed, God-fearing will be successful. | ||
| 32 |
حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعْنَٰبًۭا﴿32﴾لا |
عنب,
|
| Gardens and grapevines. | ||
| 33 |
وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًۭا﴿33﴾لا |
تَرِبَ,
|
| And splendid women of the same age. | ||
| 34 |
وَكَأْسًۭا دِهَاقًۭا﴿34﴾ط |
دَهَقَ,
|
| And nice pitchers (drinks) in abundance. | ||
| 35 |
لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًۭا وَلَا كِذَّٰبًۭا﴿35﴾ج |
سَمَعَ,
|
| They will never hear therein foolish talks or falsehood. | ||
| 36 |
جَزَآءًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابًۭا﴿36﴾لا |
جَزَى,
|
| A reward from your Rabb, a gifted account. | ||
| 37 |
رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًۭا﴿37﴾ج |
سَمَا,
|
| Rabb of the universe and the earth and whatever is between them, The Most Merciful, they will not be capable of addressing Him. | ||
| 38 |
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفًّۭا ۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًۭا﴿38﴾ |
رَاحَ,
|
| On the Day when the souls and angels stand in rows. They will not speak except those permitted by the Most Merciful, and he will say what is right. | ||
| 39 |
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا﴿39﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| That is the Day of Truth. "So, whoever wishes may now turn towards their Rabb." | ||
| 40 |
إِنَّآ أَنذَرْنَٰكُمْ عَذَابًۭا قَرِيبًۭا يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلْكَافِرُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى كُنتُ تُرَٰبًۢا﴿40﴾2ع |
نَذَرَ,
|
| We have warned you of a punishment getting close, the Day when the man will see what he has forwarded by his hands, and the ungrateful will say, “O, I wish I were dust.” |
