|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and The Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَٰشِيَةِ﴿1﴾ط |
حَدَثَ,
|
| Has the news come to you of the misfortune (losing consciousness)? | ||
| 2 |
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ﴿2﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| The faces on that Day will be in submission. | ||
| 3 |
عَامِلَةٌۭ نَّاصِبَةٌۭ﴿3﴾لا |
عَمِلَ,
|
| Working in fatigue. | ||
| 4 |
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةًۭ﴿4﴾لا |
نَار,
|
| They will be burning in a hot Fire. | ||
| 5 |
تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍۢ﴿5﴾ط |
سَقَى,
|
| They will be made to drink from a hot spring. | ||
| 6 |
لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍۢ﴿6﴾لا |
طَعِمَ,
|
| Nothing for them to eat except a thorny bitter plant. | ||
| 7 |
لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍۢ﴿7﴾ط |
غَنِيَ,
|
| It will not make them fat nor be sufficient for the hungry. | ||
| 8 |
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاعِمَةٌۭ﴿8﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| On that Day, faces will be blessed. | ||
| 9 |
لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌۭ﴿9﴾لا |
سَعَى,
|
| Satisfied with their efforts. | ||
| 10 |
فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ﴿10﴾لا |
جَنَّ,
|
| In the Gardens of Paradise. | ||
| 11 |
لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةًۭ﴿11﴾ط |
سَمَعَ,
|
| They will not hear nonsense (invalid talk) there. | ||
| 12 |
فِيهَا عَيْنٌۭ جَارِيَةٌۭ﴿12﴾م |
عين,
|
| In there will be flowing springs. | ||
| 13 |
فِيهَا سُرُرٌۭ مَّرْفُوعَةٌۭ﴿13﴾لا |
سَرَّ,
|
| In there, Raised bedstead (or in happiness). | ||
| 14 |
وَأَكْوَابٌۭ مَّوْضُوعَةٌۭ﴿14﴾لا |
كُوب,
|
| And glasses filled up. | ||
| 15 |
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌۭ﴿15﴾لا |
صَفَّ,
|
| And cushions lined up. | ||
| 16 |
وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ﴿16﴾ط |
زَرَبَ,
|
| And carpets spread out. | ||
| 17 |
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ﴿17﴾وقفہ |
نَظَرَ,
|
| Do they not see towards the camel, how it was created? | ||
| 18 |
وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ﴿18﴾وقفہ |
سَمَا,
|
| And towards the sky, how was it raised? | ||
| 19 |
وَإِلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ﴿19﴾وقفہ |
جَبَلَ,
|
| And towards the mountains, how were they erected? | ||
| 20 |
وَإِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ﴿20﴾وقفہ |
أَ رَضْ,
|
| And towards the earth, how was it leveled? | ||
| 21 |
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌۭ﴿21﴾ط |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| So, remind, you are only a reminder. | ||
| 22 |
لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ﴿22﴾ |
لَيْسَ,
|
| You are not a ruler (controller) over them. | ||
| 23 |
إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ﴿23﴾لا |
كَفَرَ,
|
| But whoever turns away and is ungrateful. | ||
| 24 |
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَكْبَرَ﴿24﴾لا |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Allah will punish him with the greater punishment. | ||
| 25 |
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ﴿25﴾ط |
أ و ب,
|
| To Us is their return. | ||
| 26 |
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم﴿26﴾1ع |
حَسَبَ,
|
| Then on Us is their account. |
